Mitchell Movers:

brand identity and
stationery set

To design a logo mark and branding language for a service industry company, applied to a full business stationery suite and several company properties.

Mitchell Movers are a family-owned, Athens, Georgia-based moving company who assist their community in local or long-distance moves, offering specialized services to the college students who would like a professional service to move their belongings but at a smaller scale than a typical family move. They were founded by the Mitchell brothers, who set out to create a cheerful and dedicated work environment that puts customers at ease and leaves a reputation of successful, responsible moves, tailored to the customers’ individual needs. This is reflected in their motto, “More Than a Move,” which shows up throughout the brand application.

 
 
 
 

The main logo is the a lockup of the name and the “M” truck icon, in a strong orange and placed on a white (or blank) field. The yellow border that accents the logo is drawn from the lines of the M on the icon, as can be seen on the front of the business card, and is rounded at the corners wherever it bounds a flat rectangular area. The layout of each stationery item is simple, on white, with the logo and type in orange, and rounded edges that contain the yellow outline. All type is from the Aaux Next family, including the slightly modified version found in the lockup, and the envelope is in the #10 policy style.
